The sanitary restrictions introduced by the government define the number of square meters per one Visitor present in the building. Therefore, an entry system has been developed that will allow you to schedule the arrival of Participants for specific hours. Thanks to this, it will be possible to adjust the number of people staying in the hall at the same time to the appropriate restrictions.

For this purpose, the opening hours of the Fair have been extended, which are divided into three-hour admission hours. From Thursday to Saturday, the International Book Fair in Krakow will be open continuously from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and on the last day, October 25 (Sunday) from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. In this way, visitors can choose from three different entry times for the first three days of the Fair: 9.00, 12.00 and 15.00 and two rounds on Sunday at 9.00 and 12.00.

Tickets will be sold for each turn, that is for a specific time on a given day of the Fair. Their overall pool will be determined on the basis of official government guidelines and will be specified closer to the date of the Event. For the sake of limiting direct contact as much as possible, tickets will be sold only online. Buyers will need to register their details as well as the details of the people for whom they are making the purchase. This is due, inter alia, to the obligation to complete an epidemiological questionnaire for each Participant - both adults and children.

If three hours is not enough to satisfy your reading passion, you can buy a ticket for several rounds. The cost of one of them is PLN 5 for all Participants. This year, it will not be possible to take advantage of free admission to the Fair or obtain a discount. This applies to children as well as seniors and other people entitled to the customary allowances that would normally be accepted. Registration, which takes place while purchasing tickets, also includes industry guests, bloggers, schools and groups.

The tickets purchased in this way constitute an admission card to the Fair. At the specified time, arrivals will be able to scan their ticket for that round. It is one-off, so visitors may enter and leave the building only once per turn. After the tour is over, people leaving the ticket have to reread their ticket code on exit, so keep it until you leave the Fair. Thanks to this, the number of people present at the same time in the hall is controlled not only at the entrance, but also during the event itself.

Ticket sales will start soon, 2020. Stay tuned and follow our website and profile on Facebook not to miss new news!
